“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray.
Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting
God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness,
everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down.
It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
—Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)
Dear Life Church Family,
On behalf of our Executive Team, we want to provide information to you regarding our plans for how we are responding to the global outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). First, we are praying for those who have been affected by this globally and locally. As an Executive Leadership Team, we have been closely following the issues surrounding the virus and we continue to monitor information and follow recommendations and direction from local health experts. As of now, there is 1 confirmed case in the Lehigh Valley. Although the virus, which causes COVID-19, has only 1 confirmed case in the Lehigh Valley, some schools, colleges, and large events have responded with closings and cancellations out of an overabundance of caution.
First, we want to assure you all that the Executive Team and the Campus Pastors are working hard to consider all contingencies to maintain safety and health for our people. The health of our Life Church family is a priority for us. Please refer to lifechurchlv.org/coronavirus as well as follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updated information on how we are responding as a church.
We are taking the following steps at all of our locations, specifically relating to our Kids Life ministry. Much of this is already a practice on a regular basis, however, we have added additional precautions:
Sanitizing shared surfaces before and after each service (including door handles)
Deep cleaning each Kids Life room throughout the week.
Asking children to wash hands before entering the room.
Screening each parent or guardian at check-in to see if anyone in the household has a fever or other cold symptoms.
In addition, we encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to refrain from simple actions such as shaking hands, touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Please cover coughs and sneezes with your arm or a tissue. Also, if you or your children are ill, please stay home and subscribe to our podcast at lifechurchlv.org/podcast. You can also give your tithes and offering easily and conveniently from home by going to lifechurchlv.org/give.
With the information we have been given, the polices and precautions we have been taking (and will continue to take), we will continue to hold our regularly scheduled services and weekly discipleship groups until further notice.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email our team at . It’s an honor to serve you and your family!
