GUIDELINES FOR WELCOMING YOU BACK HOME
Some of our protective procedures will include–
We will utilize face coverings and appropriate social distancing in all of our facilities, including reconfiguring our auditorium seating to maintain safety.
Doors will be propped open so that door knobs don’t need to be touched. (Doors that cannot be propped will have ushers to open and close)
Hand sanitizer stations will be available at all of our entrances
Offering buckets and communion elements will not be passed between people; there will be no paper ‘hand outs’ in service
We will not offer Kids Life or Varsity Life immediately when we reopen; instead, we will phase the reopening of these ministries in a manner deemed appropriate
All ministry areas will be disinfected immediately after and prior to each service
Hospitality will be limited and consist of ‘pre-packaged’ foods
As Lehigh and Northampton county recently moved to the yellow phase, our approach is to begin with in-person discipleship groups of 25 and below at all locations beginning the week of June 8.
Once Lehigh and Northampton counties turn green, based on guidance by governor, the restrictions on large church gatherings will be lifted. We’ll begin meeting in-person on Sunday mornings. Our first in-person Sunday morning gatherings will be on Sunday, July 5 at all locations.
Our volunteer teams will meet on Sunday, June 28 for a rally and make preparations for our re-opening.
As we anticipate being able to Welcome YOU Back Home at one of our locations, we wanted to clearly communicate that your safety and the safety of your family are our primary concern.
We will be following CDC recommendations and our Life Church guidelines for reopening are listed above.
We will progressively re-open Kids Life and Youth from oldest to youngest. Phase 3 will begin 3 weeks after our facilities re-open for Sunday services.
